The 200 residents of Ponta Grossa occupy a fascinating area that extends itself between a corridor of sandy colorful sea cliffs and a stunning blue sea.
The right to stay in this land was earned still in the 90’s and the sale of properties from there is categorically forbidden.
To be in this small village of fishermen is to travel through a different universe, where the majority of inhabitants, Dutch descendants, are part of the same family and sign their last name as Crispim.
To enjoy the sunset on top of a red dune of approximately 50 meters of altitude that overlays the sea cliffs and meets with the sea, provokes a sensation of tranquility and an involvement with nature impossible to describe.
Also underneath these dunes, an intriguing archaeological treasure has been unburied, with indigenous instruments not profoundly studied yet.
